What is the Decibel Trade-Back program?

Decibel Audio offers the most aggressive trade-back program in our industry. If you change your mind, wish to upgrade or just want something totally different, simply send us back your gently used purchase with the original box and we will give you store credit for the entire amount, including any tax you may have paid. We only ask that you spend half as much more on your next purchase (Example:  You spend $500 on a turntable and want to upgrade. Your total purchase price must be at or above $750.)

What condition must the item be in?

Your purchased item should be in ‘like new’ condition. It should be in full working order and we ask the you return the item in its original box with all supplied accessories. Damaged items or items with missing accessories will be assessed on a case by case basis.

What items are not eligible for trade-in?

Almost every item in our online store is eligible for trade-back. A few exceptions are turntable needles and cartridges (needles wear out as you use them and make them impossible to resell), and headphones and earbuds (because...gross.)

What if I need to ship the item back to you?

Smaller items can be shipped back using USPS Priority mail. Larger items should be shipped using UPS Ground. Tracking should be provided and insurance selected to ensure it arrives safely and promptly. The cost of shipping items back to the store is the responsibility of the customer however we will pick up the tab for any item or items shipped to you that exceed $99. If the items are shipped within the state of IL sales tax will be applied to the difference between the cost of what is being returned and what is being purchased.
